XIX. International Sleddog Meeting

We had an awesome weekend in Dunaharaszti at the annual season-opening race. We achieved some really nice results, I’m very proud of my team.

Nina (Chatty Eyes Across Alaska) and Me took 2nd place in Scooter with 1 FCI dog out of 4 competitors. It was our first race with a scooter, and my Little Girl was so great, I’m very satisfied with her!
Tivo (CH Northspring’s My Tricky Tuesday) and Me took 6th place in woman canicross out of 20 runners. It wasn’t our best result, but we enjoyed it anyways. I had two other runs before it, so I was very tired, but my boy didn’t let me down and ran perfectly!
I also competed with two of my friend’s malamutes in D2 and we won 2nd place out of 4 teams! It was a very new and good experience, I’m looking forward to work with these two guys again!
Also, my one and only Tivo won the sausage eating contest for the third time! He beat around 60 dogs  (I swear that I feed him!)

We entered to a CAC show as well, where Chatty Eyes Across Alaska WD got exc.1. CAC and res. Best Working Dog in Show!!!

As you can see I’m very satisfied with my team. Also, my youngster, Koda – Northspring’s Born to Be Good was just great, friendly with everybody, two and four-legged also. He was reunited with his family and he couldn’t be any happier.
