After last year’s bad season and lack of races we can say we had a pretty nice year!
We couldn’t participate on snowy races, but we trained a lot and we had a really nice winter season. After the snow was gone we had our first race in Serbia, Tivo and Me raced in canicross woman (after so many years…) and we won 1st place with great result on a really tough trail. It was a fantastic and adventurous weekend with our friends.
The weather conditions weren’t the best, so we had to skip the last race of that season. I spent a few months abroad in spring and in summer, but I got back just in time to start the new race season in Hungary. We had an amazing time, we raced almost every weekend.
XVIII. International Sleddog Meeting (09.20-22.): 4th place in D1 (Tivo and Nina with me), 4th place in junior woman canicross with Gamsi (Discworld Onida Miakoda) and Tivo won the sausage eating contest,
Sleddog Promo Race, Serbia (10.06.): 1st place in woman canicross with my one and only Tivo (Ch Northspring’s My Tricky Tuesday),
III. Szigetköz-Vének Cup (10.12-13.): 2nd place in D1 with Tivo and Nina,
I. Vadászkutya Magazin Kupa (11.13.): 4th place with Nina!
We didn’t enter to any shows, I did go to a few, but just as a spectator and to cheer for my lovely Orsi! But Tivo’s daughters went, Gracie (B’n’W Run For Fun BGs Phantasia) became Czech Junior Champion and Slovakian Club Junior Champion and Kheira (B’n’W Deep Blue BGs Phantasia) got her first CAJC! Gracie also participated on a middle distanced race, she won 3rd place in scooter category.
I cannot express my feelings in words and write down all the memories I got… I just want to translate one comment to you which was said by Laci (love you Laci :D) after one of our races together this year:
This year in both Haraszti and Vének we met a totally loose Blanka, like she usually is (was) in Serbia. Keep on going like this, forward!
So yeah… I enjoyed the races more and I guess people enjoyed my company more aswell. I have so many great memories, so many nice moments, I had so much fun.
I want to thank everybody for making this possible for us and also a few people by name: Ági and Laci, Orsi, my mother, Sipi and Petra, Bary, Vera (for Gamsi 🙂 ), Anett, Gerald and Gábor. You guys made my year!!!
Bye-bye 2013., you were great and we are looking forward to 2014.
